Little Nook Cottage is around 300 years old and full of character and charm. It is the perfect bolt hole/romantic retreat from which to explore The Cotswolds. When you step through the door you'll be greeted by the main living area which is superbly cosy and inviting. There is a large Loaf corner sofa facing the inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, a basket full of fluffy blankets to snuggle into and a TV. A small dining area with linen arm chairs looks out onto the picturesque street outside.
Moving through the inner hall you will find a full bathroom with rainfall shower over bath, basin and toilet, equipped with Molton Brown toiletries and fluffy White Company towels. The bathroom features a stunning cotswold stone wall.
Head straight through the hallway into the bright fully equipped kitchen with views of the rolling Cotswold Hills. In the kitchen you will find all the essentials to cook up a tasty supper, with rustic plates, bowls and glasses. There is also a Nespresso machine with milk steamer for coffee lovers.
Upstairs you will find a small landing area with an area for hanging extra clothes. Heading into the master bedroom, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind, with a double bed, dressed in crisp 300 TC hotel bedding. There is space for hanging clothes tucked away in the little nooks of the bedroom and also a chest of drawers.
The second bedroom is small but perfectly formed, featuring a super comfy Neptune single bed, perfect for an extra guest or simply to relax and read a book. This room features a small handcrafted desk with rattan chair from which to work away from home. The desk is ideally placed so that you can enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside from the upstairs window.
There is also a small toilet and basin upstairs.
The outdoor space makes Little Nook really special, with a huge garden to enjoy it really is a hidden gem. Stepping out from the kitchen you will be greeted with a huge south-facing garden bordered with an illuminated cotswold stone wall. The garden opens out into a large lawned area at the bottom with open views onto the famous Cotswold Way, St. Peters Church and the countryside beyond. There are two outdoor seating areas; a 4 seater dining table with plump cushions and a corner outdoor sofa on an elevated terrace perfectly positioned to enjoy the views.
* Please note due to the age of the property there is reduced head height in places (upstairs and in shower/bathroom) and elderly or less mobile people may find the stairs steep. There are grab rails on the stairs for assistance. *
